Reduce your oranges and clementines to this sweet, sticky taffy to be enjoyed as a garnish for your favourite cocktails, desserts or as candies.
Simple Syrup
WHISK TOGETHER 2:1 ratio of white sugar and water in a small saucepan. ADD in cinnamon sticks, cloves and nutmeg. BOIL, reduce to medium heat and SIMMER until the consistency of melted candle wax. SET ASIDE and let COOL.
Candied Oranges
BRUSH thinly sliced oranges with simple syrup and PLACE on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet. SET oven to 225 degrees and watch two hours worth of Netflix.
